Digital Branding Institute (DBI) is an organization that focuses on helping individuals and organizations enhance their digital identity, visibility, and credibility through digital branding resources, training, and education. We are looking for talented individuals to help with this mission.

What We Do

The DBI owned properties and events include the DBI website which hosts a blog filled with how-to’s, thought-leadership, and digital branding inspiration; Digital Branding Summit, our annual Virtual Event laser-focused on specific industries and occupations; our regional Digital Branding Masterclass which guides attendees through the digital branding process having them walk away with a great digital brand to help boost business; and Digital Branding University where we provide affordable, comprehensive online training to build, manage, measure, and monetize a digital brand.

Social Media Intern (Fall 2017)

Do you love everything social media? Do you know the hacks to grow an organic audience? Have you yourself built an audience from scratch? Then this position is for you. Looking for someone who has had proven success growing either their own channel or for a business and would like to build their portfolio.

We are seeking a talented Social Media Intern to help grow brand awareness, and cultivate consumers/customers across social media platforms. The ideal candidate is a creative self-starter and social media obsessed and will play an integral role in the growth of the company.

Internship responsibilities will include:

• Assist in the creation of great, engaging content for social channels; Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, and Twitter.
• Measure the success of creative assets and posts to ensure maximum visibility and engagement.
• Identify trends and opportunities on social media platforms to increase brand awareness, reach new prospective consumers and integrate into a marketing plan.
• Actively monitor trends in social media tools, for both strategy development and to generate new content ideas.
• Review and modify digital paid campaigns on Google Adwords, social media, and retargeting platforms.
• Stay abreast of social platform updates, social trends, and best-in-class social media campaigns.

Content Marketing Intern (Fall 2017)

DBI seeks an energetic, detail-oriented intern with a strong interest in content marketing. As a member of our team, you will assist with the strategy, planning, and execution of DBI’s content marketing initiatives.

Internship responsibilities will include:

• Assist in planning and execution on a day to day basis in project initiation, development, strategy, and delivery.
• Learn to and help manage content calendar including development, implementation, and delivery to teams
• Review with team members marketing analytic reports
• Help and collaborate on other marketing team activities to meet project deadlines
• Research and Understand Content Marketing best practices and provide recommendations

What you will learn:

• Hands-on training with WordPress, Hootsuite, and other tools
• On-the-job training with content creation, social media engagement, and influencer outreach.
• Working with a dynamic team that wears many hats for generalized marketing training
• Learning about PR strategy development
• Learning about content strategy development

Skills needed for success:

• Excellent English writing skills.
• Great attention to details.
• The ability to prioritize and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Graphic Design Intern (Fall 2017)

The individual will create and designs graphic art and layouts utilizing current graphic design technology/computer software packages to produce advertisements, sales promotions, and literature.

Internship responsibilities will include:

• Creating graphics for websites, marketing campaigns, infographics, blog images, digital ads, flyers, and social media images.

• Generating ideas and concepts for various marketing and advertising deliverables.

• Delivering digital marketing assets, resizes, and branded content.

• Collaborating with various teams and leadership on ideation and strategic decisions.

• Working with web developers on various project deliverables by aiding in projects.

Skills needed for success:

• Prior experience creating graphics and a solid grasp of design concepts.

• Comfort working in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator.

• Enthusiasm for the design process and attentiveness to different project goals.

• Detail-oriented, organized, ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments.

• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and jQuery is a plus, but not required.

Digital Branding Research Fellowship

The Digital Branding Institute (DBI) is accepting applications from motivated Graduate Students for its Digital Branding Research Fellowship. This role is established to create research and thought-leadership that advances the practice of digital branding, communications, marketing, and social media engagement.

Through this fellowship, fellows will not only advance an emerging field of research, but will also explore the real-world application of digital marketing, social media, content marketing, and search engine optimization, and digital behavioral theory in the area of digital branding.

Ultimately, the DBI believes this fellowship will help establish a benchmark to guide organizations, small businesses, and individuals when growing their business in the digital space.

Digital Branding Research Fellow will contribute ground-breaking research in the field of digital branding. More specifically, the Fellow will:

Analyze quantitative data using robust methods, and interpret, describe and publish findings.
Assist in the development of charts and infographics
Produce high-quality reports and journal articles based on the analysis of data and literature with a clear and engaging writing style.

Fellowship Selection Criteria:
